LEAD RETRACTOR

The Spectranetics Lead Retraction device is the first powered lead retractor that was designed to replace the current manual lead retraction device.  Delve was tasked with designing and engineering this product.  The industrial design was primarily driven by ergonomics and usability for this new device.   The final design has a soft form with large slices to create ergonomic touch points on the front rotating nozzle that allow the user to easily change modes and flat surface areas for status indicators on the top and back.  The result is a balanced design that gives the user control and stability during the process.
